Pitti Fragranze is the event traditionally marking the end of summer and the turning of a new year for perfumery professionals. Sales of prestige fragrances recorded a 20% increase in the selective channel (perfumes, department stores and specialist e-shops of prestige) in France during the first eight months of the year, according to a report by The NPD Group. A rate well above that of the whole of 2021 when sales had increased by 11%, restricted by subsequent lockdowns during the first half of the year. Consumers show a preference for more concentrated perfumes. In fact, eau de parfum sales increased by 23% compared to the same period last year and increased by 12% compared to 2019.

Gallinée, founded in 2014 by Marie Drago, offers a range of science-backed beauty products featuring a proprietary complex of prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics that nourish and strengthen the skin's microbiome.
